Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, let it splutter and add Urad dal and fenugreek seeds powder. Add curry leaves. Add Chopped mixed vegetables. Saute them for 3 to 4 minutes. Add Salt, Sambar powder, chili powder and turmeric. Add boiled and crushed dal with water. Mix well.<\/p>\n<p>4. Add tamarind juice and let the dal boil for 10 &ndash; 15 minutes over medium heat. Adjust the consistency according to your preference. If you like thin Sambar, add more water.
