This is the most popular one of the two. In this version, three chutneys are used.<\/li><li><strong>Sukha Bhel:<\/strong> Sukha means dry. A dry green chutney is used here.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The street-side chaat vendors serve bhel in paper cones and a couple of papdis, which act as a spoon to eat this delicious bhel puri chaat.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So today, in this post, I am sharing the Mumbai street-style dry Bhel Puri recipe with dry green chutney that you can easily make at home from scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This sukha Bhel is a perfect snack when you want something light and, at the same time, satiate your taste buds. It&rsquo;s spicy, tangy, and so irresistible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hero of this recipe is Sukha Bhel Chutney (Dry bhel powder).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This spicy sukhi bhel chutney enhances the taste of bhel and makes it irresistible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preparing sukha bhel chutney is very easy. Buy the regular variety.<\/li><li><strong>Veggies:<\/strong> diced boiled potatoes, finely chopped red onions, and tomatoes.<\/li><li><strong>Papdi:<\/strong> Also known as Puri. It is a thin, savory, crunchy wafer available in Indian grocery stores. You can also make them at home. For this recipe, we will crush the puri and add and use it as a spoon for serving.<\/li><li><strong>Peanuts:<\/strong> I used readymade roasted peanuts. It&rsquo;s readily available in Indian stores. You can use salted or unsalted peanuts. They add a nice crunch.<\/li><li><strong>Bhuna chana (roasted kala chana):<\/strong> It is also readily available in Indian grocery stores.<\/li><li><strong>Sev:<\/strong> Sev is a crispy and fine gram flour noodle, also known as nylon sev or nylon vermicelli. It&rsquo;s readily available in Indian grocery stores. Make sure the color doesn&rsquo;t change. Keep it aside.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For Sukha Bhel chutney<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Take all the chutney ingredients (Cilantro, Mint, Daliya dal, Ginger, green chilies, Salt, Black salt, black pepper powder, cumin seeds, and lemon juice) in a blender jar. Crush it into a coarse powder. Keep it aside.<ul><li>Note: This sukha bhel chutney recipe will make &frac34; cup of chutney. You can add chopped cucumbers instead.<\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1674250254549\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">Is this bhel gluten-free?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">No. I have used papdi (crispy puris) which is made of flour. Skip papdi to make it gluten-free. The rest of the ingredients and process remain the same.<\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1674250262595\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">How to store?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge, but it&rsquo;s best consumed within a day as they will get soft and soggy and will not be that crunchy.<\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1674250277045\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">Is this dry bhel healthy?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">Yes, it is a healthier snack. Puffed rice is low in calories and keeps you full for a long time. All the other ingredients added to bhel puri are also relatively healthy except the Sev and papdi, which is fried.
