I have made this soup in Instant Pot to a couple of times and I just loved the result.<\/p>\n<p>Let me show you with step by step process of making spinach soup in Instant Pot and in a soup pot.<\/p>\n<h2>How to make Spinach Soup | Green Soup in soup pot?<\/h2>\n<p>1. Heat ghee or oil in a saucepan. Add cumin seeds, clove, and cinnamon. Let cumin seeds crackle. Add Ginger-chili paste, garlic, and chopped onion. Add Zucchini and chopped spinach. Saute them for 5 to 7 minutes over medium flame.<\/p>\n<p>3. Add milk, salt, and nutmeg powder. Let the milk come to a boil. Switch off the flame. Let the mixture cool down a little bit.<\/p>\n<p>5. Blend into a blender until smooth. Add cumin seeds, clove, and cinnamon. Let cumin seeds crackle. Add Ginger-chili paste, garlic, and chopped onion. Saute them for few seconds.<\/li>\n<li>Add zucchini and chopped spinach.<\/li>\n<li>Add milk, water, salt, and nutmeg powder. Mix them well.<\/li>\n<li>Cover the IP lid. Make sure the vent valve is in sealing position.<\/li>\n<li>Press the Manual\/Pressure button, set it for 2 minutes under high pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Once cooking time is over, let the pressure release naturally.<\/li>\n<li>Let the mixture cool down a little bit.<\/li>\n<li>Blend into a blender or with an immersion blender until smooth. Sieve it well (Optional).<br>\nTurn on the saute mode and Keep the Spinach Soup back in the instant pot for 1 to 2 minutes. Check the seasoning and consistency according to your like. Pot method gives you nice and bright color whereas the Instant Pot method gives a slightly dull green color.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But in the end, the taste is what matters the most. Whichever way you make this green soup, it tastes heavenly.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The soup is wonderful alone, but would also be great with some warm, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cookingcarnival.com\/instant-pot-olive-oil-rosemary-no-knead-bread\/\">crusty bread<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Notes and Pro-tips<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You can use bottle gourde (Dudhi\/Lauki) instead of Zucchini.<\/li>\n<li>For Vegan version &ndash; Use Oil instead of Ghee and Unsweetened coconut or almond milk instead of Regular whole Milk.<\/li>\n<li>You can also completely skip the milk and use water or vegetable broth. But the soup will be less creamy.<\/li>\n<li>If you are making this for small kids or if you can&rsquo;t handle the spice, Skip the green chili paste.<\/li>\n<li>Skip water if you like very thick spinach soup.<\/li>\n<li>This recipe can easily be doubled.<\/li>\n<li>You can make this green soup in 3qt, 6qt, and 8qt.<\/li>\n<li>Don&rsquo;t skip the nutmeg powder? It gives unique flavors.<\/li>\n<li>You can use Frozen Spinach for this soup too.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Garnishing<\/h2>\n<p>I love different Garnishing on soup.<\/p>\n<p>For this particular, spinach soup, roasted garlic, almonds, some nutmeg powder, thyme and some cream taste brilliant.
